Why Is Walgreens Closing Their Stores. The death of Walgreens Inc.
Walgreen's slowly is closing their doors slowly but surely, but why is that? Here are the five reasons why Walgreen's are slowly closing their doors:
1. Their customer service sucks!!! Over the course of time, they are limiting their staff to only one pharmacy technician and one pharmacist to perform all the duties of the day, help patients, fill medications, and other miscellaneous tasks. Not only that the company is barely paying their lower level staff, especially their techs, cutting their hours, and no overtime for when the store becomes incredibly busy.
2. Walgreen's have broken the law. In 2014 alone, they had to pay millions of dollars to the federal government for a HIPPA law breach. Due to this many insurance companies no longer allow their patients to go fill their prescriptions. You can view the article at https://goo.gl/2YooRN
3. Walgreens does not care about you.
4. We have figured out how to save money, and Walgreen's do not like it. Using discount cards such as https://wehelprx.com/wehelp470/ and goodrx.com are just a few ways we are beating the drug companies and pharmacies and saving as much money as we can.
5. Walgreens has not adapted to a changing society. With only these five reasons it's no wonder why they have closed their doors, and it deserves to become the next BlockBuster.
