We search and search for meaningful websites, organization, and people to lend a helping hand to those in need. With the cost of health care going up and most companies out to make a profit on individuals who are ill, injured and in need. I have only found a handful of companies out in today's world that will lend a helping hand. Merek & Co is a pharmaceutical company based in the United States and one of the largest in the world offers a multitude of prescription savings cards for a majority of their brand name drugs. They also offer a program that if you have a household income of $48,240 or less for individuals, $64,960 or less for couples, or $98,400 or less for a family of 4 you many qualify for saving offers. Merek also offers the basic savings card for like other pharmaceutical companies.
You may be asking; why am I saying that one of the Big Pharmaceutical companies helps? Well, they are still out to make a profit but they do not make a profit by making a drug and charging outrageous prices for them. They are fairly affordable and most are covered by a majority of insurances and in spite of this they still give out these programs to assist with their copay's. In my opinion, as patients, we are only paying for the customer service and the research they put into their medication.
