How To Pay Nothing For Your Brand Name Medications
Manufacturers Coupons are another way to save on your monthly prescriptions. They can be used by both cash paying and commercial insured patients. Both 30 and 90-day prescriptions when a coupon is applied have a maximum limit of how much it will cover, most save you up to a max of $200 per fill.
It is possible to save more money than with just prescription insurance or paying out of pocket.
Commercial insured patients can be combined their insurance with these coupons. First, your primary insurance will be billed by your pharmacy; then your co-pay can be reduced by having the pharmacy staff run a secondary claim and billing the coupon from the manufacturer.
Unfortunately, federal and government-insured patients (Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare) are unable to combine these coupons together with their insurance but can be used separately.
Always try and find free trial coupons. Free trial coupons will always pay the full copay on that medication. Also request a 90 day supply so you will have 3 months of medication for no charge.
